Removing a model frees the space. It will simply download again the next time you use that tool.

Where are the models stored?

Only on this device, inside this browser’s storage for this website (Cache Storage and IndexedDB).
They are not uploaded anywhere and not synced to other devices or browsers.
The browser may remove them by itself when your disk is running low.

Tip: use a private window

In a private / incognito window nothing stays behind — models are deleted automatically when you close the window (they download again each time).

Remove them through your browser

Chrome / Edge: Click the icon left of the address bar → Site settings → Delete data. Or: Settings → Privacy and security → Site data → search for this site → Delete.
Firefox: Click the padlock left of the address bar → Clear cookies and site data…
Safari (Mac): Safari → Settings → Privacy → Manage Website Data → search for this site → Remove.
Safari (iPhone / iPad): Settings → Apps → Safari → Advanced → Website Data → swipe left on this site → Delete.
Android (Chrome): ⋮ → Settings → Site settings → All sites → this site → Clear & reset.
