Yes. The extension and the web tool are free.
No. The extension has no server and makes no network requests. Only the cleaned text you send yourself goes to the AI provider.
Chrome and Chromium-based browsers that install from the Chrome Web Store (Edge, Brave, Opera, Vivaldi).
Numbers with checksums (IBAN, cards, national and tax IDs) are found very reliably. Unusual names or indirect clues can slip through — always take a quick look before sending.
